Dr. Teresa Tran Orthodontist
Dr. Teresa Tran has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years. Her journey into orthodontics began with her own experience wearing braces, which completely transformed her smile and boosted her confidence. Inspired by the life-changing impact of orthodontics, she knew she had found her passion.
Dr. Tran’s education started at the University of the Pacific, where she excelled in an accelerated pre-dental program, earning her biology degree with a minor in chemistry in just three years—graduating summa cum laude. She then attended the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she not only honed her skills but also led as President of the Vietnamese Dental Student Association and traveled to Vietnam to provide care to underserved communities. Her studies also took her to Japan, where she participated in a dental exchange program to gain a global perspective on dentistry.
After dental school, Dr. Tran pursued her dream of becoming an orthodontist. She earned her master’s degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from Loma Linda University and went on to achieve board certification, a distinction that requires rigorous written and clinical examinations.
Dr. Tran’s greatest joy comes from providing top-quality care and helping her patients achieve beautiful, confident smiles. Outside of work, she loves traveling, staying active, and spending quality time with her family. She and her husband, a retina specialist in Georgetown, Texas, are proud parents to two daughters who brighten their lives every day.
